Rules at the Bus Stop
- Get to your stop early; the driver won't wait
- Stay out of the street and away from traffic
- Make sure the driver can see you
- Be respectful of others

- Stay in your seat
- Talk quietly

- No eating or drinking
- Keep all parts of your body in the bus
Consequences of Breaking Rules
Student transport to school by bus is not a student right.
Students may be forbidden from riding the bus for behavior problems.
Students are still required to attend school if barred from the bus.
- Consequences for school bus/bus stop misconduct will apply to all regular, activity and charter bus routes. Parents or guardians will be notified of any suspension of bus privileges.
- Please keep in mind that the following consequences for bus stop and bus violations are only a guide. Depending on the severity and nature of the offense some steps may be skipped and immediate suspension could apply:
- 1st: Warning
- 2nd: Assigned seat, meeting w/ principal, possible suspension
- 3rd: 5 day bus suspension; still required to attend school
- 4th: 10 day bus suspension; parents required to meet with school admin
